Brooke joined us on 16th May 2011 and has quickly made herself at home! Her dad is Sing who is a Grade 6 agility dog and competed abroad at flyball, he is ball crazy! Her mum is Samber, a little girly who we have always had a soft spot for as she is bouncy and fiesty but has a great temperament like Sing. The puppies from their first litter are three gorgeous sable girls so we knew it was a good combination!
Brooke has a lovely mix of dogs in her pedigree, lots of Shelridge and some Blenmerrow and Morestyle. Her breeding is along similar lines to Brodie but they are not too closely related.
Brooke at 8 weeks old - her first day with us and taking everything in her stride!

2016
Brooke was a superstar at Rugby Rally and got her second qualifying score in Level 2! Brooke has been so good through her months of rehab and is slowly getting strong enough to do some more fun things! She did her first little jump last week and loved it :-) Brooke did her first Rally competition since her operations and ended up winning the class with an excellent score...there were a lot of happy tears!! |
2015
Brooke did her first Rally competition as she is not allowed to play at agility due to a shoulder injury :-( She really enjoys Rally and loved being at a 'party' again! She did amazingly well coming 2nd in Level 1 out of 35 dogs and getting a qualifying score of 199 in Level 2! Our next competition is in a month so we have a bit of time to practice! |
Brooke has just become a Mummy!! She had three beautiful boys on January 6th - what a brilliant start to the New Year! She is a wonderful Mum, very natural and devoted to her pups. Brodie is a very proud Daddy! What an exciting year lined up as Brooke will make her debut in Champ this year and hopefully try her paw at a few qualifiers. Oh and we get to watch her beautiful kids growing up! |
Brooke has unfortunately managed to pull one of the ligaments in her shoulder :-( She is on a strict program of short lead walks, physio work, biomag therapy and laser therapy.
She is unlikely to compete this year sadly but has been allowed to start Rally training and has been entered into her first competition at the end of May! She is so enthusiastic about everything so keeping her quiet and calm is tricky! Her coat is just starting to grow in after the pups! |
2014
Brooke did well at her first show of the year finishing 6th in Beginners Obedience at the ESSC Spring show. If it wasn't for her dodgy retrieve she would have finished much higher as her heelwork was fantastic and her stays were rock solid :)
Brooke has had a very successful few KC shows and has won into Grade 5!!
Brooke has now had 5 wins at G5 making her well and truly Grade 6! Clever little bean also won a couple of Combine 5-7 classes in the process :)

Brooke won G6 agility at Nedlo show at the weekend making her Grade 7!! Since she has been in Grade 6 she has won 6 jumping classes and come 2nd in agility classes 5 times so it was nice that she got that final agility win! Matthew has been really good and not even pushed her contacts so she will be raring to go in Champ next year!!
In keeping with Burdett family tradition, Brooke has won a trophy at the Agility Club Annual Awards, coming 2nd in the national Grade 4 league table-what a clever little girl! |
2013
Brooke puppy has now starting competing at KC shows and is doing very nicely! She has had a couple of jumping wins, a couple of agility placings (with very held contacts!) and even a 3rd in a C1-7 jumping. She is really starting to work as a team with Matthew in the ring now and is almost getting to the speed she goes in training! There are loads of videos of her on YouTube :)
16/6/13 - Brooke is now Grade 4!! She won a class of 157 dogs at Axstane, clever bean!!
Brooke has qualified for the UKA Grand Finals in Beginners Steeplechase - yay!!
Brooke was a bit overwhelmed by the Grand Finals experience but hopefully will have learnt from it and be back more confident next year. She will be taking time off for a little while to have some puppies! See the planned litters page for more details :)

2012
Brooke passed her Bronze Good Citizens test in May.
Her agility training is coming along nicely and she is FAST! She has done a few shows and run 'not for competition' only so Matthew can reward her lots in the ring. She still makes baby mistakes but hopefully with some winter training she will be ready to compete at KC next year :)
Brooke WON Pre-Beginners Obedience at the ESSC Champ show in October!! Clever girly :)
